DoctorMason Posted February 25, 2006 Share Posted February 25, 2006 Hello Everyone! We once had osCAffiliate 2.5 working, and when we upgraded to osC 05-1113 it no longer worked. It is entirely possible we simply didn't correctly re-install the osCAffiliate, which could happen you know. Looking at all of the contributions we would "like" to use, caution says we'd want to know if they still work with the "new & improved" version of osC. If you just dropped the changed files over the top of the existing ones then 'yes' mods will break. But you should be okay provided that you applied the manual update which is available in the html file. The MySQL5 update, which is a large one, is only necessary if you use MySQL 5. Because it reverted to the original osC store, we started over. It says we use MySQL 4.0.26 , PHP 4.4.2, PERL 5.6.1. So in your expert opinion we simply must pay closer attention to installation of the contributions. I can live with that! Thanks!
