External link problem (new user so bear with me)

I've searched the forum and I checked the knowledge base on how to add an external link. Adding the link was not a huge ordeal nor difficult, but I've run into a bit of snag.

When it link is activated, it tells me that the page cannot be found. It tries to find the external link on my server from what I can gather.

This is the code I used (which came from the knowledge base)

$info_box_contents[] = array('align' => 'left',

'text' => '<a href="<http://www.FBases.photosite.com/>" target="new"><b>Fox Bases Gallery</b></a>'

);

I placed it in the information box.

What have I missed?

Thanks in advance,

Rob

After typing this all out and looking at the code, I see where I made my mistake. New users pay attention here.

It should look like this...

$info_box_contents[] = array('align' => 'left',

'text' => '<a href="http://www.FBases.photosite.com/" target="new"><b>Fox Bases Gallery</b></a>'

);

Those little "<" and ">" make a HUGE difference...
