lonelyderinger Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I have been working on this problem for two days, someone please help. While in http://homeopathicgoods.com/catalog/shopping_cart.php my shopping cart shows 1 item. When I click checkout the ssl kicks in https://homeopathicgoods.c2.ixwebhosting.co...opping_cart.php and my shopping cart is empty. How do I fix this, please anyone! Thank you. Daniel
Jack_mcs Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 First, you should remove the Install directory. Then try changing your configure file to not use ssl as a test. If it works after that, then you don't have the configure file set up correctly. lonelyderinger Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 As you can see I am using a shared SSL cert. I tried turning it off and reinstalling. The website works fine. There just isn't any security. So my question is, how do I get my config files to work with my shared SSL? Here are my admin/includes/config and catalog/includes/config -=Admin=- define('HTTP_SERVER', ''); // eg, http://localhost or - https://localhost should not be NULL for productive servers define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', ''); define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', ''); define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false'); // secure webserver for catalog module define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', $DOCUMENT_ROOT); // where your pages are located on the server. if $DOCUMENT_ROOT doesnt suit you, replace with your local path. (eg, /usr/local/apache/htdocs) define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/'); define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_ADMIN); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG); define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . I am going crazy... :(
lonelyderinger Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 Basically... something is failing between shopping cart ( http://homeopathicgoods.com/catalog/shopping_cart.php) and the shipping checkout (https://homeopathicgoods.c2.ixwebhosting.com/catalog/checkout_shipping.php) The first reads there is an item in the cart, and the second says there isn't. You can test this live on my site by simply adding something to the cart and clicking checkout, you don't have to make a user account you can see it goes to 0 when it asks. www.homeopathicgoods/catalog/ Install is delete. Sessions are set to mysql. (though it doesn't read that above, I have updated)
Jack_mcs Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 If thar configure file is just has it appears on your server, then you have another one in the includes/local/ directory and you will need to look at that. But it appears as above becuase you deleted the text, then you need to repost it with that included (except for the username/password stuff). All you really need to post is about the first 10 lines.
