Mark-UK Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I use paypal on my site but when someone uses paypal to pay i dont get the extra order confirmation email sent to my email so i know what they have bought. You know when you can select a copy of their order confirmation sent to your address, it works wine with my credit card payment system worldpay but not when a buyer uses paypal. Any ideas please.

Any ideas please. do a search on here for paypal and you will find a ton of info--to fix this problem for me all I had to do was go to paypal and set the redirect page to checkout_process.php, this is the page in your shop that logs the orders so that you will get an email notification. Return URL behavior How should the customer be sent back from PayPal to the specified URL? 0=No IPN, 1=GET, 2=POST 0 1 2 Do you mean set to checkout_process in my actual paypal account or in the admin section of my payment bit on my live site? Im a bit confused sorry?

Im a bit confused sorry? You need to set it in your paypal control panel. I believe it is under the merchant tools tab. If you are selling downloads you should install the paypal ipn contribution as the default paypal module allow the customer to change the price between your store and the paypal site. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
