Any help would be appreciated, btw, thks Michael, however i need it broken down even more...

They are all different, some are eaiser than others and some have better documentation than others. If you see a contribution that you think you may want to install download it and look at the install or readme and then find the support thread and see what kinds of problems others have had and whether it seems to work as described. Once you decide you are going to go for the install backup your site and database and give it a go. If your site is live you should set up a second copy of your site for installing contributions and making changes so you can test them before trashing your live site and scaring away the customers. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
