Hi,

I added a sound file to play as backgroud music in my store. It is playing however, everytime I change screens (ie. click on a category, the music goes back to the beginning instead of just continuing. Does any one know how to get around this??

my advice would be to get rid of it. Most people find background music on websites quite annoying. Especially on an ecommerce site, which is why you won't find it on them.

I had a music website that played background music in flash (so that they could shut it on or off), but I got alot of complaints from people who were trying to view the site at work...

It is a little gimicky. Come to think of it, you are probably right. My target market are daycare givers who usually go on line while the kids are taking naps...I'm sure that they wouldn't appreciate it if blaring music came on .
