rmcclain
Hi, I'm installing osc on register.com, using a shared ssl certificate. The /catalog directory is one level below the root (/public/catalog), but the website instructs me that all secure data needs to go one level ABOVE the root, in /secure/, so it's not even in the path of the public directory. Any thoughts on how I set this up to use SSL? Do I need to put the whole catalog in the /secure/ directory, and then what should the paths look like in my /catalog/includes/configure.php file? TIA. ♥Vger
This is one of those hopelessly outdated two-folder systems. You'll have to copy all of your files/folders into the secure folder as well as into the public/catalog folder. Then you'll need to get your web host to give you the shared ssl pathway - we can't even guess at what it may be. Then you have to hope that the secure folder has been linked to your public/catalog folder by your hosting company. Vger

I'm ready to switch. R McClain
