toptiara Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I'm sure this must be listed somewhere, but my searches bring back stuff which is of no relevance whatsoever, meaning I get 20+ pages of links which are useless to me :( I'm looking for information on how I can change the display of my product lists. Out of the box lists one product on a single row, with a thumbnail, name, price and the add to cart option. I'd like to change this view to list two items per column, with a larger image, price and brief description something like this (hope ascii works!) ********************* * * ?999.99 * * * PICTURE * Description * * * * ********************* Obviously showing twice in a column with some kind of seperator. I've seen this sort of thing on other sites, but with only knowledge of HTML and not PHP, I don't know which files I need to edit to accomplish this. Maybe there is a contribution to accomplish this sort of thing? Help, as always, greatly appreciated. Thanks Hand made jewellery and tiaras on our website Please bear with me. Im an osC noobie!

♥Vger Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 A tip when searching this forum. The forum search is very basic and limited. Install the Google Toolbar and then when you want to search for something here come to this site, input your search term into the Google search box and then select to 'Search this site'. The hits you get will be much more relevant. Vger
Guest Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Vger - you are an absolute angel. 3 years I have been using these forums, and I never thought of that way round at all! Also has the added bonus of not putting as much load onto the poor beleagured osc servers.
♥Vger Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Yes, it does reduce load on the servers. And Google is constantly indexing this site so the results you get will be bang up to date. I always use the Google Toolbar 'Current Site' search feature. Vger
