Hello, im a newbie  :-" I know you proberbly have loads of questions about layouts, so I did do a search, but didnt find anything that was right for this. My question is: Can I (as a relitive newbie to Oscommerce) make a template close to something like the monstercommerce demo layout?Link: http://www.monstercommercedemo.com/ Again, sorry if this has been asked before. Kind regards :)
♥Vger
That's not an osCommerce site, and uses ASP and not PHP for the coding. However, there are many companies that provide templates for osCommerce, and there are also some free templates and templating systems (STS and BTS) available from the Contributions section. Vger That was quick! :D I know its completely different system. I just loved the style/look. :) What is STS/STS? One thing I liked was the header Is it hard to recreate in oscommerce? Another thing I want to ask: Is there a guide to making a template for oscommerce? Kind regards

Indifferent
This is what ive come up with so far: http://www.yascene.emind.be/osc/ (Image map for the home link in the image) Doesnt look very nice i'll admit, but its my first try at a template by scrach. Two questions: (!) How do I add a search engine? and (!) How to I get rid of the new products box? Btw this is all just me testing stuff out, im not stealing anything. Just checking if this is possible. :)
♥Vger
If you are comfortable with html and especially with css then take a look at BTS (Basic Template System). If you know html but not css then try STS (Simple Template System). Vger

Or look for the closest full install.
