How to Change Templates

Hello Everyone:

 

I am feeling very nauvice at the moment, however, am slowly learning about how to do things.

 

I've build a basic template on frontpage, and bluevoda and now I find out that I can not integrate either into a shopping cart.

 

So I have been given about 10 OSCommerce Shopping cart templates, and there are a couple I don't mind.

 

However I would like to know first off if I can add my company header, and change some color schemes and placements of some of the boxes?

 

Then how do I change the one that OSCommerce comes with initially to the new shopping cart? The files themselves seem to have everything in them, they are not just skins.

 

I'm afraid I'm not super good with computer lingo, but have a basic hands on understanding of my control panel...well a little bit, and such.
