photogsam Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Hi ive sucessfully installed the oscommerce shopping cart, and changed the layout etc, the only problem im having is, when in admin setting up the categories and products. Everything is entered with no problems, prices aswell. after pressing insert I check the catalog and the products are on there, but all the prices show as 0. Im hoping this is something really simple and silly ive overlooked, but if anyone has come across this before, any advise would be greatly appreciated Kind Regards Sam

♥Vger Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 It sounds as though you have added a new currency for the English language e.g. UK Pounds. There is a connection in osCommerce between languages and currencies, and when osCommerce was written it was assumed that if your language was English then your Currency was US Dollars. If you have added a new currency for the English language then go to includes/languages/english.php and where you see 'USD' change to 'GBP' (for UK Pounds). Vger

tyl3rb1ck Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Same problem, solution dosnt work for me :( i added a new currency GBP set it to default, deleted USD and EURO currency. go to store and all prices are 0 have edited english.php to GBP
♥Vger Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 In your osCommerce admin panel locate 'Switch to default language currency' and set it to True. Then empty the cache in your own browser before going back to your site. Vger
