center the site

hi

 

i know that there is a download that allows me 2 do this but it also removes the search buttons etc and i wud like to keep them

 

ne one know how i can centre the site (so i can put a background colour on)

 

please help

Look below my name for the Fixed Width Site With CSS contribution. It's very easy to install and will do what you want.

 

One thing to note is that the images you use in your left and right columns must be no larger than the width of those columns specified in includes/application_top.php - else it will stretch the left and right columns and pull them out of alignment.
