osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Sending out email as nobody@[server-address]. How can we change this?

Currently one of our hosted customers (at least) has an osCommerce installation that is sending out email messages (receipts, invoices, notices, etc.) with [email protected] in the email header, rather than, [email protected]

We have recently had to disallow all email from being sent by "nobody" in order to prevent a spammer from uploading a mass-emailing script and sending to three jillion AOL.com email accounts.

Is there any way to change the header in the messages that osCommerce sends? If so, which file do I edit to make this happen?

Thanks much.

you dont need to edit a file, it is in admin>configuration and says "E Mail From" and provides a box for you to enter the address.

He had already set this up and indeed his address does go out with the osCommerce sent mail, and we ARE getting his email address in the return-path header, but the problem is, we are still getting this kind of thing under that initial header, down a bit further:

Received: from nobody by our.server-name.com
