Guest Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Hello there, I got a payment through for goods ordered online. No order appeared on my system. The clients name and address details were input OK into the system. I had to email them and ask what they ordered etc. They assured me that they ordered through the shopping basket. I'm a bit perplexed, and puzzled. Has anyone any experience of this, it would be helpful if someone could shed some light on this subject. Thank you very much in advance. Clareo

Guest Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 yes, also if you use gateways like paypal there is a switch in the merchant account to automatically return to the site thus updating the order. Or you could install the paypal IPN. And have a look in the contributions there is the recover cart sales one where you can see what the customer ordered even when they do not return.
jadek Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I have also had the same issue before. I created an email address where I receive an email for each order placed, and I check that against my orders. Pain in the rear, but I don't know what else to do.

From what I can understand its most likely a user related cause.
