You will have to edit the .htaccess file in /catalog/admin. osc doesn't secure the admin panel you have to use apache's .htaccess instead.

How do you edit the .htaccess file? It seems to be encrypted.

Hello my first post and I'm a total newbie to Oscommerce and not a top Apache guy either but the information on this string prompted me to find this information on .htaccess authorization from Apache.org that nails the subject of setting up authentication using Apache directives or ?.htaccess? and works great.

Love the software so far just got it started and loaded last night. I will be a small time vendor compared to most but this is a software to start with it seems.
