Product images problem

Hi

 

I am new to osCommerce and am attempting to set up my first shop, however i will need to upload a few thousand product images so would like to keep them in some kind of order.

 

When i try and add a product i can't seem to get it to preview with an image unless i have the image in the main image folder not a subfolder i assumed i would be able to have images/xxxxx/yyyyy/zzz.jpg but this does not seem to work what should i have in the image path?

Images go in the 'images' folder. The exception is if you set up Manufacturers and add their images, in which case the Manufacturers image goes into images/manufacturer_name/

so there is no way to have a subfolder in images to help with organisation of your images?

The way we solved this was with the contribution "easy popluate" and then "ImageStretchFix_1_2_1.zip"

these two allowed proper image controll and the ability to load to directories thru an excell spread sheet.
