soundlogic Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Hi there, Just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to whether what I am trying to do is possible or not? Or if there is a contribution that I can download to allow me to do what I need to do. I have an osCommerce store that sells downloadable files of songs for school children. The songs have the mp3 files and lyrics files and videos and so on, so lots of downloads per item. What I now need to do is to offer products that parents can buy in case they want to buy just the song file for their children to learn. The normal products for the schools which contain all the files will be ?14.99 each (set price - no discount possible). I would like though with the parents products to be able to tell the parents that they can have up to 10 items for ?10. They can then choose how many they want to buy. If for instance they only purchase 2 songs the price will still be ?10 and if they purchase 10 songs it will still be ?10. Also if they order over 10 songs, say 15 then it will move into another ?10 bracket so for 15 songs the cost will be ?20. The only thing I can't figure out is how to do this so that I can have products in the osCommerce database that are at a set price of ?14.99 and get no discount no matter what but then be able to have other products that can have a discount on them and that they are allowed to buy up to 10 for ?10. I need it to be this way as I don't want schools (or anyone for that matter) being able to purchase say 10 items which are the full (set price) items and getting them for the ?10. Hopefully this has made some sense to someone and perhaps someone could help me with this as I have been wracking my head for days now and checking forums all over the place trying to find an answer before bugging everyone. Any help with this would be greatly appreciate. Best wishes, Mark Bowen
