Modify the What's New section

I want to modify the main pages' What's New section. Not the new products section but the What's New this month area.

 

I can't seem to find anywhere that I can modify what it displays and where.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And of course the minute I post in here I find my own answer.

 

I have a suggestion for a new category. " Why didn't you look here in the first place "

 

It would be used for people like myself that for some reason just forgot one file and posting on here in desperation has made them realize what they missed.
