Easy Populate vs. Header Tags

I have searched the forums for my answer, but cannot find what I am looking for.

 

I need Easy Populate to download the fields for the Header Tags. According to some forums you are supposed to comment out : #'v_products_head_title_tag_'.$l_id => $iii++,

#'v_products_head_desc_tag_'.$l_id => $iii++,

#'v_products_head_keywords_'.$l_id => $iii++,

From admin/easypopulate.php under Linda's Header Controller 2.0.

 

I don't have Linda's Header Controller, I have installed Header Tags v.2.5.6

I tried commenting out the above as instructed and no changes.

 

Can someone please advise?

I said comment out, but I meant UNcomment. Mine is NOT commented out.

Linda was the original author of Header Tags. While that contribution has changed considerably since her version, it still works the same with Easy Populate. The lines you want to uncomment are around 930. If you have those uncommented and Header Tags installed, then what happens when you try to download?

Thanks to you I got it to work. I was looking at uncommenting this around lines 344: // support for Linda's Header Controller 2.0 here

 

They were already uncommented. I believe in my copy of easy populate it states that the info to uncomment is around 250. I tried find replace but nothing was coming up. I even tried searching on my own.

 

I thank you so very much. I spent 5 hours yesterday working on these tags and at some point all of them got lost. My life is going to be so much easier now. Thank you for everything you do.
