all of a sudden out of nowhere.. I'm starting to get this error on the home page:

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/musieng2/public_html/store/index.php:2) in /home/musieng2/public_html/store/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 97

What is this and how can I fix this?

Hi, this is my first post here - but I did a google search on your error message. One I found is here:

http://forum.mamboserver.com/archive/index.php/t-42814.html

In that thread on that site, they describe this problem as being caused by 'white space' either before or after the leading <? or trailing ?> in php file. Is there a chance you've used a non-ASCII editor of some kind on your files? They often will include extranious characters into files.

Hope that's a help - I'm about to setup a trial install of osCommerce - wish me luck!!

If you can access your admin section go to Configuration -> Sessions and change the sessions path from /tmp to tmp.

If that doesn't solve the problem see:
