Feature request: module to track multiple shipments from 1 order.

hi,

i am looking to add a feature that handles the following:

i want to sell things like tshirts andc customized pens with custom messages on each product. but my customers want to "prepay" a block of items (like blocks of 10 items), and then add the message for each individually. the thing is, i want the user as well as admin to be able to see any unfulfilled orders. To clarify,

let's say that i want to place an order for 10 tshirts. but i only want to ship 3 today, 2 in 4 months, and the rest next year. all to different people and each with a different recipient etc...

the admin should have reporting ability, and the user needs to see if he has any credits and then apply these open credits to new merchandise.

any suggestions?

anyone want to develop this?
