Move text_main area upwards on the index page..?

I have made a html table with images for the text area in my index page, but the table is located too low on the page -I would like to move it up a bit. I have removed the welcome messages (text_greeting_personal etc) but the space for it is still there, it seems. (I removed them by deleting <?php echo *something* (sorry, I don't remember excactly, but the "recipe" for it was on this board and it worked out.)

Now how can I move my table upwards on the page?

Also I would like to thank all of the osCommerce community for the advice, tips and contributions posted here. As a total newbie in programming I am very grateful that I can actually learn these things myself by just going to this community and search, search, search. :D

Ok, I found it out myself and am a bit embarrased because I bothered you, because there is a blank picture there.. I removed the default pictures with blank ones right when I started working on the store. I'll just remove it and it should work out good I think.

Well... It looks like the space for this picture: table_background_default.gif, is preset at a particular size or something, because the image I replaced the original with is only 11 pixels (I used one I made for the corners of the info boxes)... Or maybe the table it occurs in, is set at a specific size?

I have tried deleting and commenting out the area where this image is occuring, but I either remove alle the text_main area or I get the // showing up on weird places.

I figured it out! (It's strange how one often figure things out by oneself right after involving others, after having spent hours trying to fix it.)

Move text_main area upwards on the index page..?
