Thats what i get when trying to install oscommerce.

What might be the problem ?

 

 

Im running freebsd 5.4 stable, php4 / php4-extensions, mysql 4.

 

(mysql seems to work just fine)

I am having the same problem with Windows 2003, Latest Apache, PHP, MySQL.

 

I am having the same problem also with FreeBSD, Latest APM ...

Since I've found the solution, I'll replay to myself. :-)

 

You need to install php with mysql support (php extensions). You can see if mysql extension was compiled with php with:

 

<?php echo phpinfo(); ?>

 

in info.php for example.
