Configuration Issues

I have installed the catalog and it tells me all is OK... I had to make one or two modifications for the Windows config but i presumed they had worked. When i click to go to the admin panel i get this

http://www.forbiddenapple.org/catalog/inst...admin/index.php

Now I think this is because i installed from www.forbiddenapple.org/catalog/install and not http://localhost/catalog

There is a reason for this and that is i couldnt get localhost to work! I also have experience of ZenCart and therefore have configured E-Com carts like this in the past. I guess there should be some way of correcting my error so any help please

try this -

open the browser at that page and change the address from

http://www.forbiddenapple.org/catalog/inst...admin/index.php

to

http://www.forbiddenapple.org/catalog/install/

and i reckon it will run

Try going to this address, because that's where your admin panel is located:

http://www.forbiddenapple.org/catalog/admin/

After you've done that then FTP to your website and rename the admin folder to something unique, and then edit the two references in admin/includes/configure.php from /admin/ to /newname/

And while you are there you need to sort out the rest of your configure.php file, because it has many errors.

When you've done that then go to your web hosting control panel and Password Protect your newly renamed admin folder.
