Need help installing osCommerce 2.2-MS2

Here is what I have done:

1) Downloaded the Windows version of osCommerce 2.2-MS2 from oscommerce.com

2) Extracted the files

 

However, I can't seem to upload the osCommerce 2.2 catalog directory to my public_html web server document path using Core FTP. For some reason, it stops at 476 items and refuses to transfer the rest of the files. What am I doing wrong?

 

Secondly, if/when I do upload the catalog directory, what are the next immediate steps I need to take. For instance, do I need to then download phpMyAdmin?

 

I know I am asking alot, but I hope that somebody can send me in the right direction. Thanks.
