Insert image in the middle of text in the centre column

Good evening

I have been pondering how to achieve the above

I have searched these forums and the web and the advice would seem to be something like

<p><img SRC="file:/Catalog/Images/paypal/paypal_explanation.gif" align="middle" width="386" height="159"></p>

Whilst I have managed to create a "blank space" within the text there is no image

Please could some knowledgeable person put me right

Thank you

only guessing now, but what happens if you put the full web address of the image. Instead of "file:/.... try http://www.your web address/catalog/images blah blah blah.

Hi Steve

Thanks for this thought - alas it dont work.....

What is exasperating is this has got to be fairly straightforward it aint rocket science but there doesnt seem to be any tutorials on how to do this

Hi folks

I think I ought to promise not to make stupid statements in the future....

For the record I have been able to insert the image

 <?php
/*
$Id: security_information.php,v 1.0 2006/02/03

 blah blah
*/
define('HEADING_TITLE', 'blah');
define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'blah');
define('TEXT_INFORMATION', '
<p>blah blah</p>
<p>See the illustration below for a pictorial representation of how it works.</p>
<p align="center"><img src="/catalog/images/blah_explanation.gif" alt="image blah_explanation.gif"/></p>
<p>blah blah</p>
');
?>

As a novice I would like to recommend the following website for their excellent tutorials Tizag Tutorials

It enabled me to correct my mistakes and understand the process

Regards
