osCommerce only stores 4 chars of a name

hello all,

 

first of all, i must say that osCommerce is a wondeful system..

i just got a few problems needed to be solved.. i installed osCommerce with Hebrew pack, and it worked ok (after a few fixes..) problem is, when i enter a new product\category\manufactor, and i enter 'adfasdgasd' for English name, it works ok, but what i insert into Hebrew Name - only the first 4 chars are saved..

 

what could be the problem here?

have you tried setting up the collation for the sql columns to a different setting to see if it works? Of course backup your dbase first.
