joeynice Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 My product images are all different sizes. In the small thumnail size that i set to be 100x100 some are distorted and some are not. If I put a blank in the height or width I just get the actual size of the image which is way to big. However that large image is fine when the customer clicks on the inlarge image option. How can I scale the thumbnails ? Also I change numbers and info in my admin and they take but does not change the stuff on my web site ? It's like it's not updating it ? Thanks!
Guest Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 With the images, you need to have ONE of the dimensions defined in order to get correctly csaled images; you choose, EITHER height or width, and the image should show fine. If this isnt working and your product updates aren't showing, I would suggest that your admin is communicating with a different database....? Try putting a trial order into your store and see if it shows in your admin panel.

I add manufacures to products and they are not going live to the site either... Also is there a chat room somwhere for oscommerce ? Thanks for the help!

Ok I just figured it out. I keep one blank and I just end up with the full size image. That's not what I want I found a contrabution where I can thumbnail to scale.. Can anyone install for me? Thanks
Guest Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 There are quite a few people who will do this for you in exchange for small sum, but to be perfectly honest the vast majority of contribs have simple install instructions, and doing this stuff for yourself really gives you an insight into how your store works, enabling you to maintain it yourself as your project grows.
