Sales tax calculations for multiple vendors?

Hello all,

 

We are researching ecommerce software for a distribution business. The rules for sales tax dictate that we collect tax for sales to the state (and county/locale if applicable) in which the vendor of the product is based:

 

If we sell an item for a vendor located in California to a customer who lives in California, we must collect sales tax.

 

Does OSCommerce have this capability? If not, can anyone suggest a system to us?
