ddtech Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Hey all, looks like the default option for inventory is (out of stock or in stock). Does anyone know how to put the quantity of stock left? Say I have 5 items left, when an order is made it will automatically put 4 and then when it hits 0 it states that the item is out of stock and the customer cannot purchase it. Can this be done? Thanks

Thanks osC does not give a countdown though there may be a contribution that will do that for you. However you can keep customers from checking out products that are out of stock. Go to your configuration box in the admin and click on stock you will find options there that will let you set how you want to treat inventory and checkout. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
