Master Products Contribution question

I am kind of a newbie at programming so any help would be quite appreciated. For my personal store I am working on for my family business I had to combine the Master Products and Quantity Price Breaks contributions. I was able to do that okay with a little bit of effort.

 

The only problem I am having now is that the Master Products Contributions does not do exactly what we need for the type of business we have. I need the Slave product quantities to be linked directly to the Master Product quantities. In our case it is for core charges that need to be set up as separate item due to tax status issues. I have been able to change it so the master and slave product quantities can be linked when entering them into the shopping cart. The only thing I need to work on would be to link the items when updating quantities or removing from the shopping cart. I have an idea of what I do, but would appreciate any feedback before I get to work on this.

I dont have an answer but was curious about the two contribuitons you installed.. Im new to OSC and have been reading thru this forum for some advice. but I think I just need the two contrib you installed.. Do you have a link or demo of these two running together.. I want to make sure its what im looking for before i install both..

4 SKU4 XXL 5 4.5 4.25 dropdown with values=1,6,12 or quantity textboxinput..

 

Then obviously adjust the shoping cart accordingly .. ADD to CART..

 

.. just installed the masterproducts contrib.. and Its close to this without the $breaks.. when you added the quantity contrib did you get this type of functionality.. Ive only added 10 products to test this but I have thousands I need to add ASAP, so before I have a DB with 10,000 entries id like to have this stable.. any help would be appreciated as it would save me the time of install and backup.. and reimage if it sux.. thanx..
