By default the first signup page does not include a dropdown for the states so if you have installed a contribution the files you changed would be the best place to start If you post a url we could take a look and maybe come up with something better The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

ozcsys Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 No havent installed such a module/contribution..the url is athttp://www.josephinesplace.com any help would be great ty :) By default osC will only accept the state names spelled completely out. When you enter in an abrev. such as NY for new york then you get a dropdown on the next page. When you use the dropdown it lets you complete the process. ( I just did and it is working) You have a couple of choices. You can install a contribution that will add a dropdown to the first page or one that will allow abrev. for the states. Either of these should solve your problem. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? ozcsys Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I just added an account typing in a state and the Us as the country and it worked fine. If you are choosing Australia as the country are there Australian states already in the database?? If not that is most likely the problem and you will need to add them.
