Hi

I have a version of os commerce which is different than what you can download from the original website. It was installed with cpanel10 and doesn't have some features like the original.... It is milestone 2.2 but for some reason some things aren't there. And I am a bit of a noob so if someone can help me with these problems that would be great, list follows:-

How do I change Shipping & Returns, Privacy Notice, Conditions of Use, Contact Us pages?

How do I change the template, store logo?

What contributions are necessary for a good site? And how do I install them?

How do I set GBP as the default currency?(doesnt stay when I change it in the admin page)

Thanx in advanced

Best place to start is with the knowledge base. While it will not answer all your questions it will time well spent

Personally I think you would be better off downloading and installing the version of osC found here as opposed to the one included with your hosting. You do not know how up to date the one you installed is and if you use the version found at this site then you know you have the version you should be using.

In addition installing osC yourself will give you some knowledge of how the files are setup which will help you when you start installing contributions.

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing.

Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems?

There are many very useful osC Contributions

Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here

BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
