set a passwd to the admin panel

Hi!

Thank to all for develep and carry on the OScommerce.

I start to work whit it 2 day ago and I think is great .

 

I have a question,How can I set a password for go to my administation tool ?

For now ,I see that everybody can have acess to the admin panel and I think Is not a great idea :-)

FTP to your website and 'Rename' the admin folder to something unique. If they can't find it - they can't hack it.

 

Then in admin/includes/configure.php change the two references to /admin/ to /new name/

 

Then go to your web hosting control panel and look for a feature called something like Directory Protection or Password Protect and use that to protect the newly renamed admin folder.
