sarabee Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Hi I struggling(!) to set up a shop and noticed that if I add items to the cart using AOL as my browser, then close the website, when I reopen it the items are still in the cart. If I then try to check out I am taken to the 'login to account' page which fortunately doesn't have any personal details in it but even if I login as a new user, the order still contains the items that were in the cart when I arrived at the page. This doesn't happen if I use Explorer. I have dial up AOL, Windows XP and 'force cookies' set to false. Cookies were turned off by my host because when this was enabled the 'add to cart' button only led to the 'you do not have cookies enabled page' so no one could check out. I'm very new to all this so if anyone can help please reply as if talking to an idiot and then I'll probably understand you!! :rolleyes:
