Product attribute listing fault

I sell prints; the same print may have 4 different sizes and prices.

 

 

 

When i try to put the sizes in product attributes from largest to smallest it seems to put them randomly in the drop down menu - any advice,

its not really random. They're ordered by the id column in the dbase. You can use the order by clause to set a specific order like by attribute name.
