Eliminate space between heading and main text

ugh

Recommended Posts

I have changed the index page with the greeting on it. I've changed the Heading to say "welcome" and then I uploaded a few pics and then added some text.

The problem are the spaces between the header, the heading and the photos. I would like for these items to be closer together.

see here

I thought this could be addressed in the catalog/index.php but the changes I made to the trans_pixel.gif and what I thought was the space between did not work.

Any ideas?

  • 9 months later...

I had the gap problem too and noticed it was due to the background.gif file, which was all white. So in Catalog/index.php, i just put a // infront of echo in line 291... like this:

<td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php //echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'table_background_default.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>
