I am looking into setting up my own store

I worked for a couple of companies, dealt with the online commerce, and decided to set up my own store. I am rather savvy with managing a store when it is already set up, but no programmer. I have never set up a website in my life! But i would like to start with OS Commerce, and set up my own store.

 

Guys, I was trying to look around the board, but there is so much information, that I got lost.

 

 

Do I have to know the PHP code to be able to set up the store, or can I just follow the instructions and figure it out? I know some html, will it help me?
