gee_fin Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I've currently got PayPal/cheque/bank transfer modules set up, however, my shop accepts credit cards through Streamline (usual swipe/enter data machine in the office). Currently, if a customer wishes to pay by credit card I have a 'ring this number/we will call you back' style message on the credit card checkout. However, it's proving slightly annoying to both ourselves and the customer. Is there a module/contrib that can collect the relevant credit card data at the checkout stage and securely either store it or send it for processing? Validation isn't strictly necessary as no order will be sent out until the credit card is checked by processing it ourselves on the machine. Just struggling to find an appropriate contrib in the 600+ that are in there :) Any help is much appreciated :) Graeme. Quote
AoM_Scott Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 We currently use a similar system which saves the card information partly in the database while the rest is emailed to yourself by oscommerce (for security). We are using the default credit card module in oscommerce and the following contribution UK Debit Card (Switch) payment facility to add switch cards. That module also offers verifaction on the cc number so there is less problems when inputting the data into streamline. Hope this helps. Scott Quote no outside links please
Guest Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 We have installed the ePDQ contribution which uses Barclaycard CPI interface (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,430/page,8) and found this to be very efficient but does require you to have a Barclays account. Regards Neil Quote
gee_fin Posted February 16, 2006 Author Posted February 16, 2006 Thanks guys, got the standard one working with the VV2 update and UK debit card validation (if working fine, will likely add the Switch card capability later). Just ran a few tests and seems to be relatively painless. Is anyone keeping the verification up to date or are you doing that manually? Cheers, Graeme. Quote
