input in textarea does not show up - contrib:option_type_feature_v1.71

One quick question -

 

we are chasing a bug -

Using the option_type_feature_v1.71 - contrib - we have a text-area where the OC customer can input text ( Product = Gift cards ... i.e. for sending a personal text message with the card )

 

Now - with everything up according to the best of our knowledge - it shows up correctly and so on.... - but the actual input / text that is entered - does not show up in the Orders in the OC admin - nor the confirm email - ......simply nowhere to be found -

 

Anyone familiar with this ??? - Where could the problem be ??

- we dont have a lot of experience with Oscommerce but always learning - :)
