certain products will always use a specific shpping table

Can I make specific products in my shop always use a specific shipping table (let?s call it table2)?

 

Can I for instance use an extra product field and put let?s say a 1 in this field. All the products marked with a 1 will then use shipping table2. ?

 

If a customer puts one product marked as above and another product which isn?t marked at all, the shipping must still be taken from table2.

If only products which are not marked at all are added to the cart shipping will be taken from, let?s call it table1.

 

Can anybody help me with this?

Still havn?t found a solution for this.

 

I will try to explain my problem.

 

In sweden the post office charge extra for letters/packages which are over 3 centimeters high.

 

For example a letter that weigh 20grams costs 5.50 SEK(swedish currency) , a letter with the same weight but with a hight over 3 centimeters costs 16.50 SEK.

 

I can make one shipping table for regular letters and another shipping table for larger letters.

 

Does anybody have a solution for this so I can mark larger products when adding them to the shop.

 

Then if somebody adds a product wich is marked as "large" the shop will get the shipping from the appropriate shipping table.

 

I hope this makes any sense.
