Order table not updating

Dear All,

 

My payment gateway works fine, money gets deposited into paypal. But i am not able to view any order in order table.

 

Neighter my customer gets an email about the product he/she bought nor my order table shows any entry.

 

I am confused. This may create serious trouble for me.

 

Please advice

make sure the customer returns to the store once the paypal transaction is through. There is button in paypal to return to the merchant
