download redirect adds 'download.php' into URL path

Recommended Posts

To all:

I installed the Downloads Manager contribution, which works fine except for a glitch:

If I have downloads redirect activated, clicking on 'Download' results in a path:

Which leads nowehere

After looking at other download sites, they don't have the 'download/php/order/39/id' section, and if I delete it manually (ie: http://mydomain.com/catalog/pub/.meqctcslc...hbb/nameof.mp3) it will lead to a page with the mp3 playing that I can download by right mouse etc.

If I turn off download by redirect then the page with the mp3 never shows up, but it is downloaded to my hard drive behind the scenes.

I need the redirect. Anyone know where this extra bit of code is coming from when I use it?
