The e-commerce.

Index page SSL

A little annoying problem...can anyone help me with it?

The checkout process goes smoothly with the pages all being secure with SSL. However, when a customer completes the transaction and clicks "Continue" to return to the home page, they get a popup that warns of secure/insecure items....do they want to continue? Whether they say yes or no, the index page loads fine but it's now using https:// instead of http://. Of course, any browsing the customer does after that causes that error box to pop up.

I've even hard coded the http address into checkout_success.php and it *still* goes to a secure home page. The only way it works is if I right click on the link and open it in a new window. I doubt if my client will be amused if I add instructions on the success page for the customer to do that to get back to the home page :)

Is there a way to force the home page to load as http after an order is placed?

Actually I managed to find a work-around for this.

In checkout_success.php I also hard coded the continue button image reference with a https prefix. Viola! No more error messages and no more secure home page!
