Anyone Have A solution to This? SSL Problem - First Time I've Seen It.

Hello:

It seems that my host updated some files.

What's happening is any image that I use ../images/widget.gif in the shopping cart comes up with a "Security Aleart".

It seems to be trying to do a https vs a http.

Any Ideas?

I really don't want to change the images because there are just too many.

Can I say HELP?

BTW: My site running a SSL's was working fine for about 1.5 years and until about a couple of days ago.

Sincerely,

Bryan <_<

It's not the image but the link using that image. It is going to a unsecured page (most likely), thus the message. You need to change the link to a secured link or check it with

if ($request_type == NONSSL)

Thank you but it seems that the settings are correct in the config file but I included the config info just in case that's where the problem is.

But the images are going to a https:// for some reason instead of http://

Here are the config settings:

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.xxxxx.ca'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.xxxxx.ca'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.xxxxx.ca');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.xxxxxx.ca');

define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/store/');

define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/store/');

define('DB_SERVER', 'localhost'); // eg, localhost - should not be NULL for productive servers

define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', 'xxxxxxx');

define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', 'xxxxxxxxxxx');

define('DB_DATABASE', 'xxxxxxxxxxx');

define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false'); // use persistent connections?

define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'

Sorry but one other thing - When I add a product to the cart I get this message.

"Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is sent over an unencrypted connection and could easliy be read by a third party."

Any Ideas?

We're not going to be able to help you if your server address is http://www.xxxxx.ca

If that's all you're willing to post here it's up to you to dig your way through this thread.

http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=151162

There's been a lot of "please help me" noise added in that thread which was supposed to be a informative thread only so the digging is a little harder.
