ok this is the 5 day ive tryed and the third post, ive read all the articles ive tried some contributions and nothing works origionaly i wanted price per product but after instaling about 5 of em none work they either dont do anything or i get a million parce errors,

so i settled for table rate and bugger me that dont work either? ive altered tare weights etc, nothing

whats happening is the table wight is only showing the first weight ex 10:2.50, i add two items to the cart and it only regesters 1 lot of 2.50. i work in grams and kgs, i thought that if i put say 200g in product weight it wouls calculate ok but it dont im getting ready to throw in the towel please help

Scott,

Can you give a sample of how you filled in your weights with your products and how your table rate module settings are defined ?

okay, that is one thing. I assume these figures are grams ? So how have you defined the weight with your products ? According to the above your should use 1000 for 1 kg., 500 for halve a kilogram etc.

Which are the weights for the 2 products you say do not add up correctly ?

hi it just dosent seem to work at all whatever i try

example 100g=1.58 so i got ink at 1.58 if i add 2 to the cart it only adds 1 instead of two wich should be =3.16

max packege weight =50

tare weight -0

percentage increase -0

only module working is the table rate

ive tried the individule price per item module but that didnt work?

thanks scott

if you need to access my settings let me know there nothing there yet

onluy testers

Take a look at your max package weigth ! If your figures are grams then the 50 is also interpreted as 50 grams which doesn't leave room for any normal package. Change the 50 to ie. 20000 (=max. 20 kg) and you should be okay.

cheers i think ive realised my mistake i thought if you had 10:1.58, then if you put 2 x the product it would = ?3.16 but im wrong it dont add the price it adds the weight so if 10:1.58,20:2.60, then 10 x2 =2.60,

am i wright

thanks scott

there needs to be an explantion on haw the table works
