Designating Order of Products

Sorry if stepping on toes here but don't have time right now to search all threads.

I am the webmaster for http://www.erdingtonaquatics.com which now has your online shopping program installed and up and running. However, we have been wracking our brains as to how to self determine the sequence in which products appear on a page. For example, we want an item beginning with V to be higher up the viewing sequence than say P or H. So, question is, how do we alter the sequence to "manual"? :blink:

In index.php

if ($column_list[$i] == 'PRODUCT_LIST_NAME') {

$HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'] = $i+1 . 'a';

$listing_sql .= " order by pd.products_name";

// $listing_sql .= " order by p.products_model";

// $listing_sql .= " order by p.products_price";

break;

options here are to sort by name, price or model (add/remove comments -//- to activate/deactivate).

What you want is model and to enter an according sort code in the Products Model box for your products.
