changing site root

Hello all, first time poster but i've been reading the forums for weeks now.. I've also bugged rigadin via IM for a while, but wanted to spread my newbieness around some :D

I'm very new to osc(and php!), but absolutely love the potential and great front-end(s)...

I installed osc to www.mydomain.com/catalog/ , but now want it to load at the site root, www.mydomain.com. Via ftp, I 'moved' all of the contents of the catalog folder into the site root. After that, I get a message saying "The indicated file could not be found on the server!" (although it's in german?)

I have since edited both configure.php files to remove the /catalog/ path and just use the site root, but the problem is still here.

I have sts plus enabled and running. Did I do something wrong? help!

Thanks in advance,

Mike

i'm still at a loss, I confirmed my index.php and configure.php are in place, however the site will not load. I copied over the an old configure.php to the current one, which allows the main page to load but all links give the above error.

If I reload osc, can I still import my sql db to pull all of my data back in?

:(

The new paths in httpdocs/includes/configure.php are as follows for me.

define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');
 define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');
 define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '');
 define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '');
 define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/');
 define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

Try those and see if it works.
