categories and sub-cat

Hello

 

I am new to oscommerce and I am tring to figure out how to order my categories and sub categories. I would like to do this

 

CATEGORY (bold and in bigger font)

sub1 sub2 sub3

sub4 sub5 sub6

 

..................................................

 

CATEGORY (bold and in bigger font)

sub 1

sub 2

sub 3

 

....................................................

 

CATEGORY (bold and in bigger font)

sub 1

sub 2

sub 3

 

.....................................................

I have been looking in the forums and in the documentation and I cannot figure out how to do it.

 

Please help, I will be awaiting yoru response

if you want to rewrite your code to display all categories on the mainpage including the subcats, you can use any looping. You first loop through your cats and when you found one you display its subcats. What I'm not sure about is how you would distinguish between those displayed horizontally and those displayed vertically. Do you have the vats marked?

Thank you for your help I already downloaded all_categories php so all my categories are currently

 

Cat1

subcat1

subcat2

subcat2

 

I am actually tring to have the categories bold with a bigger font and the subcategories horizontally and have the .................. underthem so it looks like this:

 

cat 1

 

subcat1 subcat2 subcat3

........................................
