Save copy of sent email

I do most of my correspondence through the admin section of the osCommerce. Is there any way that I can save a copy of Sent email?

Or, is there a way that I can also receive a copy of correspondence sent to our own email address for archive purposes?

I checked contributions and numerous keywords in forums but I don't see anything. Excuse me if I'm posting to the wrong forum.

Kym it is late and I am on my way to bed but quickly looking this should be an easy way to send a copy of email to you:

admin/mail.php

around line 44 find:

while ($mail = tep_db_fetch_array($mail_query)) {
  $mimemessage->send($mail['customers_firstname'] . ' ' . $mail['customers_lastname'], $mail['customers_email_address'], '', $from, $subject);
}

ad this after the last }

so it would look like:

while ($mail = tep_db_fetch_array($mail_query)) {
  $mimemessage->send($mail['customers_firstname'] . ' ' . $mail['customers_lastname'], $mail['customers_email_address'], '', $from, $subject);
}

 # simple mod to send CC
 $mimemessage->send('Your Name Here', 'address_where_you_want_it_to_go', '', $from, $subject);

and if you do not trust emails but want to save the messages (I do it for my contact us page as I do not want any messages get lost) you could create a new table and insert it all into the database ...

here is what I use on the contact_us.php

//save in database
tep_db_query("INSERT INTO PROF_contact_us ( name, email, message, firstdate) VALUES ( '" . tep_db_input($name)  . "', '" . $email_address . "', '" . tep_db_input($enquiry) . "', Now())");

:-)
